The THHNCU-GENERIC thhn6strgrn1000r is a 6 AWG stranded copper THHN building wire supplied on a 1000-foot reel with green insulation. The conductor is built from copper with a 19-strand configuration, covered in PVC insulation and a nylon jacket rated for 600 volts. Ampacity is 55 amps at 60 degrees C, 65 amps at 75 degrees C, and 75 amps at 90 degrees C in dry conditions. The green insulation color identifies this wire as a grounding conductor per NEC convention. Electricians pull this wire through conduit in residential, commercial, and light industrial applications.
This wire is suited for conduit-fed branch circuits, feeders, and equipment grounding runs in dry environments. The 1000-foot reel format is standard for job-site use, reducing splices on longer pulls.
