The THHNCU-GENERIC thhn350mcmstrblkmr is a 350 kcmil stranded copper THHN building wire with black PVC insulation and a nylon jacket, rated for 600 volts and up to 90 degrees C in dry environments. Constructed with 37 strands of copper, this wire is designed for use in conduit runs in commercial, industrial, and residential electrical installations. It carries a current rating of 350 amps at 90 degrees C, 310 amps at 75 degrees C, and 260 amps at 60 degrees C, making it suitable for high-ampacity branch circuit, feeder, and service entrance wiring. Licensed electricians handle installation and sizing in accordance with NEC requirements.
This wire is sold cut to length and is intended for conduit-enclosed wiring applications where large-gauge feeder or service conductors are required. Typical installations include panel feeds, subpanel runs, motor circuits, and industrial feeder lines where high current capacity is needed. The black insulation color is standard for use as an ungrounded phase conductor in single-phase and three-phase systems. The 37-strand configuration improves flexibility during pulls through conduit compared to solid or lower-strand-count conductors of the same gauge.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-supply conductor for conduit-enclosed electrical systems requiring large-gauge THHN copper wire rated at 600 volts.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the circuit before making any connections. THHN wire must be installed inside approved conduit or raceway and is not rated for direct burial or wet locations without additional protection. Do not exceed the ampacity ratings for the applicable temperature column based on termination ratings at the connected equipment.
