The THHNCU-GENERIC thhn2/0strblumr is a 2/0 AWG stranded copper THHN building wire with blue PVC insulation and a nylon jacket, rated for 600 volts. Designed for use in conduit runs in commercial and residential electrical systems, this wire meets the temperature and ampacity demands of branch circuit and feeder applications. The 19-strand construction provides flexibility during pull-through, and the nylon jacket resists abrasion and oil exposure. Ampacity is rated at 145 amps at 60 degrees C, 175 amps at 75 degrees C, and 195 amps at 90 degrees C dry. Licensed electricians install this wire per NEC requirements for general wiring in conduit.
This wire is well suited for feeder and branch circuit wiring in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and residential service work where THHN-rated conductors are required. The blue insulation color supports phase identification and color-coding practices used in multi-conductor conduit runs. Cut-to-length availability reduces waste on job sites where exact footage is needed rather than a full spool. Typical applications include panel feeder runs, motor circuit wiring, and general-purpose branch circuits pulled in EMT, rigid metal conduit, or PVC conduit.
Suitable for use in dry conduit installations rated for THHN conductors at 600 volts, including EMT, rigid metal conduit, intermediate metal conduit, and Schedule 40 or Schedule 80 PVC conduit systems.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC articles governing conductor ampacity, conduit fill, and termination requirements. Verify conduit fill calculations using the 518 mil outer diameter before pulling. Terminate only at lugs and terminals rated for 75 degrees C or 90 degrees C as appropriate to the circuit design. De-energize and lock out the panel or disconnect before making any terminations.
