The THHNCU-GENERIC thhn10strorg2500r is a 10 AWG stranded copper THHN building wire supplied on a 2500-foot reel in orange insulation. Rated for 600 volts and 30 amps, it features a PVC insulation layer with a nylon jacket, giving it the abrasion and moisture resistance that THHN-rated conductors are known for. The 19-strand construction provides flexibility during pull-through in conduit runs. The 90 degrees C dry temperature rating meets the requirements of most commercial and residential branch circuit applications. Electricians pulling wire in conduit will recognize this as a standard-duty conductor suitable for panels, junction boxes, and general-purpose circuit wiring.
This wire is used in conduit installations across residential and commercial electrical systems. The orange insulation color aids in phase identification and circuit tracing during installation and service. A 2500-foot reel is sized for larger jobs or multi-circuit rough-in work where a smaller spool would require frequent changeouts. Licensed electricians use this conductor for branch circuits, feeder runs, and equipment connections where THHN-rated wire is specified.
Designed for use in conduit systems where THHN-rated 10 AWG stranded copper wire is specified. Suitable for dry locations in residential and commercial electrical installations per NEC requirements.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. Always de-energize and lock out the circuit or panel before pulling or terminating wire. Use appropriate wire-pulling lubricant when routing through conduit to avoid insulation damage. Do not exceed the conductor's rated ampacity, voltage, or temperature limits as marked.
