The THHNCU-GENERIC thhn14strwht2500r is a 14 AWG stranded copper THHN building wire supplied on a 2500-foot reel with white PVC insulation and a nylon jacket. Rated for 600 volts and suitable for use in dry environments up to 90 degrees C and wet environments up to 75 degrees C, this wire meets the load requirements for 15-amp circuits. The 19-strand construction provides flexibility during pull-through conduit runs, reducing kinking in tight bends. Electricians and electrical contractors use this wire for branch circuit wiring in residential, commercial, and light industrial applications.
This wire is well suited for conduit-fed branch circuits, panel feeders, and general-purpose wiring in building construction and renovation projects. The 2500-foot reel format supports larger jobs where pulling wire from a continuous supply reduces splice points and speeds installation. White insulation aids in color-coded circuit identification per NEC guidelines. It is appropriate for use in both EMT and rigid conduit systems in dry and wet-rated locations.
Designed as a standard THHN-type building wire suitable for use in conduit and raceway systems where THHN or THWN-rated conductors are specified per NEC Article 310.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the circuit at the panel before making any terminations. Use wire-pulling lubricant approved for PVC insulation when pulling through long conduit runs or runs with multiple bends. Do not exceed conduit fill percentages as defined by NEC Chapter 9 tables for the conduit type and size being used.
