Tempil 028051 is a Tempilstik temperature-indicating stick that melts at 800 F (427 C) to verify surface temperature during pre-heating, interpass monitoring and post-weld heat treating. The stick format (3 fl oz) includes a slip-resistant metal holder and a 3/8 in flat tip for precise application on iron and steel. Accuracy is rated at +/-1% F (+/-3% C) and the stick is imprinted for traceability.
