The TELEMECANIQUE SENSORS ZCKE06 is a limit switch head designed as a modular accessory for ZCK series limit switches. Measuring 3.7 inches in length, 1.9 inches in height, and 1.8 inches in width, it mounts directly onto compatible ZCK limit switch bodies to complete the switching assembly. Limit switch heads of this type actuate an internal mechanism when a machine component or moving part makes contact, signaling a control system to stop, start, or change direction of motion. This component is typically installed by licensed electricians or industrial maintenance technicians in automated machinery, conveyor systems, and process equipment.
The ZCKE06 is suited for industrial control applications where a modular limit switch assembly is required. The head separates from the switch body, allowing technicians to replace or reconfigure the actuator-side component without disturbing the wired switch body. This design reduces downtime in production environments. Compatible with a broad range of ZCKJ-series switch bodies, the ZCKE06 is commonly used in manufacturing, material handling, and machine safeguarding installations.
Designed for use with the following ZCK series switch bodies: ZCKJ1, ZCKJ11, ZCKJ11H29, ZCKJ11H7, ZCKJ1H29, ZCKJ1H7, ZCKJ2, ZCKJ21, ZCKJ21H29, ZCKJ21H7, ZCKJ2H29, ZCKJ2H7, ZCKJ5, ZCKJ5H29, ZCKJ5H7, ZCKJ6, ZCKJ6H29, ZCKJ6H7, ZCKJ7, ZCKJ7H29, ZCKJ7H7, ZCKJ8, ZCKJ8H29, ZCKJ8H7, ZCKJ9, ZCKJ9H29, ZCKJ9H7, ZCKJD31, ZCKJD3.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or industrial maintenance technician. De-energize and lock out the machine control circuit before removing or installing any limit switch component, following LOCKOUT/TAGOUT procedures per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147. Verify the head is fully seated and secured to the switch body before restoring power. Consult the equipment manufacturer documentation and applicable NEC guidelines for proper mounting orientation and wiring of the associated switch body.
