The TELEMECANIQUE SENSORS XUB2BPANL2R is a through-beam photoelectric sensor built for industrial detection applications where reliability under harsh conditions is critical. Housed in a cylindrical nickel-plated brass body, it operates on 12 to 24 VDC and delivers a maximum nominal sensing distance of 15 meters. The PNP output circuit type makes it compatible with standard sourcing input modules. Rated IP65 and IP67, it resists dust ingress and water immersion, and is independently certified as both shock-resistant and vibration-resistant per IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-6. The unit ships with a 2.0-meter cable connector for direct wiring to a control panel or junction box.
This sensor is suited for through-beam detection setups in manufacturing, conveyor, and automated assembly environments where a separate emitter and receiver are aligned across a detection path. The compact cylindrical form factor — 1.81 inches long by 0.71 inches wide — allows installation in tight mounting brackets or sensor rails. It operates across a temperature range of -13.0 degrees F to 131.0 degrees F, making it appropriate for both indoor controlled environments and unheated industrial spaces.
