The TELEMECANIQUE SENSORS XS518B1PAL2 is a shielded cylindrical inductive proximity sensor designed for non-contact detection of metallic targets in industrial automation and control applications. Built with an M18 brass housing, the sensor delivers a 0.2 inch detection distance and operates on 12 to 24 volts DC. It outputs a PNP normally open (NO) signal over a 3-wire cable connection and supports a response frequency of 2,000 Hz, making it well suited for high-cycle counting and position sensing tasks.
