The TELEMECANIQUE 9007C52B2 is a heavy-duty, compact, plug-in industrial limit switch rated for 600 VAC at 10 amperes and 600 VDC at 2.5 amperes. It features a single-pole double-throw (SPDT) contact configuration with one normally open and one normally closed contact. The rotary lever actuator operates via clockwise and counter-clockwise spring-return snap action, providing 90 degrees of total travel with a 10-degree pretravel and 4-degree differential travel. The switch body is constructed from Zamak zinc alloy with an epoxy powder coat finish and is sealed to NEMA 1/2/4/6/6P/12/13 and IP67 standards, making it suitable for oil-tight and water-tight installations. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers.
The 9007C52B2 is used across a wide range of industrial applications including material handling systems, mechanical conveying lines, automotive assembly equipment, machine tool operations, and packaging machinery. Its plug-in modular design allows for interchangeable switch tops and body styles, simplifying maintenance and replacement in production environments. The 1/2 inch NPT conduit connection accepts 22 to 12 AWG conductors via screw clamp terminals, accommodating standard industrial wiring practices. It is suited for both light and heavy industrial duty cycles where reliable position sensing and repeatable snap action are required.
The 9007C52B2 is part of the Telemecanique 9007C series modular limit switch platform. An alternate catalog number referenced in supplier data is 9007C66B2S20. Designed for use in industrial control systems where SPDT snap-action limit switches with plug-in bodies are specified.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or industrial maintenance technician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements and local electrical codes. De-energize and lockout/tagout all power to the machine before installing or replacing the switch. Use the 1/2 inch NPT conduit entry for proper cable management and to maintain the IP67 enclosure rating. Do not exceed the rated contact voltage or amperage, and verify actuator alignment with the operating cam or trip dog before returning the machine to service.
