Product Description

The TECO FireBag FBAS25003 is a 1 FxF NPT thermally activated safety device designed to automatically stop gas flow in the event of a fire. This device operates without needing external detection systems and activates when temperatures reach between 203 degrees Fahrenheit and 212 degrees Fahrenheit (95 degrees Celsius to 100 degrees Celsius). A thermo-sensitive alloy within the device melts, allowing a spring mechanism to create a gas-tight seal within sixty seconds.
