Sized at 0.141 inches, it accommodates No. 6 through 1/8 inch hand taps and features a 0.110 inch square drive size for positive tap engagement. This collet does not include through-coolant or tension-tap capability, making it a straightforward rigid-style tap holder suited for standard hand-tap applications. Machinists and toolroom technicians install this collet when setting up tapping operations that require a secure, repeatable ER16 collet interface.

This collet is intended for use in ER16-compatible collet chucks and tapping attachments where hand taps in the No. 6 to 1/8 inch size range are required.
