Technical Products SP209CC is a #9 winter plug designed for pool and spa plumbing to seal 1-1/4 inch fittings and 1-1/2 inch pipe against freezing conditions. The plug expands inside fittings and uses a wingnut for installation and removal, preventing water ingress and reducing freeze damage. Constructed of heavy-duty nylon, marine-grade stainless steel, and rubber, the reusable plug is suitable for returns, skimmers, main drains, and spa jets. The wingnut provides approximately 50 percent greater tightness than conventional plugs.
