The Technical Products 3X is a mounting press designed for preparing mounted samples effectively. This unit has two operation modes: manual input and one-touch programs. It comes with eighty preloaded parameters that are adjustable to ensure versatile mounting. The database within the system allows for storing parameters related to mold size, resin type, and curing settings. It fits mold assemblies ranging from twenty-five millimeters to two inches and includes a duplexing spacer for dual mounts per cycle. The user interface features a seven-inch color LCD touchscreen with keypad entry for easy navigation. The enclosure is resistant to impact, corrosion, and heat, making it durable under various work conditions. An optional recirculating coolant system can be integrated for enhanced performance. A safety sensor is available to confirm that the bayonet cap is closed before the cycle begins.
