The TB WOODS TB-7S138 is a Type S spacer flange designed for sleeve-style flexible couplings used in industrial power transmission systems. It features a 1.375-inch bore machined to size for a slip fit on standard shafts, eliminating the need for field boring. Constructed from high-strength cast iron, this Size 7 flange handles up to 1.2 horsepower at 100 RPM with EPDM or Neoprene sleeves, and up to 4.6 horsepower at 100 RPM with a Hytrel sleeve. The flange is rated to a maximum of 5250 RPM. Industrial maintenance technicians and millwrights install this component as part of a complete sleeve coupling assembly connecting two shaft ends.
This spacer flange is suited for general industrial drive applications where a sleeve coupling connects a motor or gearbox shaft to driven equipment. The spacer design allows for axial separation between shaft ends, which aids in installation and removal without requiring equipment to be repositioned. The 4.625-inch flange diameter and overall coupling length of 2.8125 inches make it a practical fit in standard Size 7 sleeve coupling installations found in pumps, fans, conveyors, and similar rotating equipment.

Do not exceed the rated maximum speed of 5250 RPM in the assembled drive.
