The TB WOODS TB-7H is a one-piece solid Hytrel elastomeric sleeve designed for Size 7 Sure-Flex Plus elastomeric couplings used in industrial power transmission applications. Molded from Hytrel thermoplastic elastomer, this sleeve delivers a continuous torque rating of 2,875 in-lb and operates at speeds up to 5,250 RPM. The operating temperature range spans -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for demanding environments where thermal cycling or low-temperature startup conditions are common. Licensed HVAC and mechanical contractors, millwrights, and industrial maintenance technicians install this component when servicing or replacing flexible coupling elements on driven equipment.
The TB-7H sleeve fits into pumps, compressors, conveying systems, fans, and similar rotating equipment where torsional flexibility and misalignment accommodation are required. The Hytrel material provides resistance to wear, oil, and moderate chemical exposure, supporting use in food processing, energy, and general manufacturing environments. With an outside diameter of 4.34 inches and a sleeve width of 2.19 inches, it fits standard Size 7 coupling hubs. Compatible bore sizes range from 0.625 inches to 1.875 inches. The sleeve accommodates angular misalignment up to 0.25 degrees, angular gap misalignment up to 0.02 inches, and parallel misalignment up to 0.012 inches.
Designed for use with TB Woods Sure-Flex Plus Size 7 couplings. Compatible with TB Woods Type S, SC, J, and JE flanges and hubs. Bore range compatibility spans 0.625 inches to 1.875 inches.
Installation should be performed by a qualified millwright or mechanical technician. De-energize and lock out all power to the driven equipment before removing or installing coupling components. Inspect hub bores and flanges for wear or damage before seating the new sleeve. Follow applicable ANSI and OSHA lockout/tagout procedures throughout the service procedure.
