The TB WOODS TB-3J12 is a finished bore sleeve coupling flange designed for close-coupled shaft connections in mechanical power transmission systems. With a coupling size of 3 and an outside diameter of 2-1/16 inches, this carbon steel flange mounts directly to a keyed round bore shaft with a bore diameter of 1/2 inch and a bore tolerance of +0.0005 inches to +0.0015 inches. It pairs with a matched sleeve insert to complete the coupling assembly. Rated to a maximum speed of 9,200 RPM, this flange is built for demanding rotating equipment applications installed by mechanical and industrial service technicians.
This sleeve coupling flange is suited for use in both light industrial and commercial applications involving compressors, conveyors, motors, and pumps. It handles angular and parallel misalignment through a 4-way flexing action that also absorbs shock, vibration, and end float.
