The TAYLOR PRECISION PRODUCTS 1733 is a wireless weather station with an integrated barometer, designed for indoor monitoring with remote outdoor sensing capability. It features an easy-to-read LCD display that shows barometric pressure, pressure history, and a weather forecast indicator. The indoor temperature sensor covers 32 to 122 degrees F, while the outdoor wireless sensor handles -4 to 140 degrees F with alkaline batteries or -40 to 140 degrees F with lithium batteries. HVAC technicians, building managers, and facilities personnel use this unit to track ambient conditions in residential and light commercial environments.
The 1733 is suited for residential homes, light commercial buildings, and service environments where tracking indoor and outdoor temperature alongside barometric pressure is useful. The wireless remote sensor transmits up to 200 feet, allowing placement of the outdoor sensor away from the main display unit without running cables. The forecast and pressure history features make it a practical reference tool for service professionals monitoring environmental conditions before or during HVAC system diagnostics.
Designed as a standalone wireless weather monitoring unit for residential and light commercial indoor use with an included wireless outdoor remote sensor.
Installation requires no licensed trade and no hardwiring. Place the display unit indoors on a flat surface or wall-mount as designed, and position the wireless remote sensor outdoors within 200 feet of the display. Insert batteries into both units per the manufacturer instructions before pairing. Avoid placing the remote sensor in direct sunlight or near heat sources, as this will affect temperature accuracy.
