Product Description

Tapcon 28185 is a 1/4 in. x 2-3/4 in. star drive flat-head concrete screw anchor intended for fastening into concrete and masonry. The self-tapping steel screw cuts and forms threads in solid concrete, brick, and hollow block and uses a star (Torx) recess for improved bit engagement. Climaseal coating provides corrosion resistance; recommended pre-drill size is 3/16 in and drive size T30. Patented Hi-Lo threadform reduces installation torque and resists spinouts.
