The Taco TACO-820-1039RP is a front ball bearing designed as a replacement component for Taco H bearing frame assemblies. Ball bearings in circulator and inline pump frames support the rotor shaft, reduce friction, and maintain alignment under continuous load. This part is installed during bearing frame service or rebuild on Series FI inline pumps. Licensed plumbers and HVAC hydronic system technicians are the typical installers. Keeping a correct OEM-style bearing in service helps maintain shaft concentricity and extends the service life of the pump assembly.
This front ball bearing is intended for use in Taco H bearing frame assemblies found on Series FI inline pumps. Series FI pumps are commonly installed in commercial and light commercial hydronic heating and cooling systems, including variable-flow and constant-flow closed-loop piping arrangements. This bearing occupies the front position of the bearing frame, closest to the pump volute end of the assembly.
Designed for use in Taco H bearing frame assemblies on Series FI pumps, as specified by the manufacturer.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified hydronic system technician. Isolate and de-energize the pump and close all isolation valves before beginning disassembly of the bearing frame. Bearing replacement typically requires a bearing press or suitable driver to seat the new bearing correctly without damaging the race. Follow applicable local mechanical codes and the manufacturer service documentation for the Series FI bearing frame assembly procedure.
