The Taco TACO-431-6 air scoop is a cast iron device that slows water velocity to separate and remove air in hydronic heating or radiant systems. It features engineered internal baffles and threaded FNPT connections for integration with expansion tanks and air vents. Operating limits include 125 psi maximum pressure and 300°F maximum temperature; suitable for water or water/glycol mixtures with a recommended flow rate of 4 ft/sec and maximum 8 ft/sec.
