Surecall SC-289W Outdoor Omni Antenna 75 Ohm

Product Description

The SURECALL SC-289W is an outdoor omnidirectional antenna rated at 75 ohms, designed to support cellular signal booster systems. Omnidirectional antennas radiate and receive signal in a 360-degree pattern, making them well suited for installations where the signal source direction is unknown or where coverage is needed across multiple directions. The SC-289W mounts outdoors and connects to the external port of a cellular booster system, capturing cellular frequencies from surrounding towers and feeding the amplifier. Installation is typically performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or experienced communications contractor.

This antenna is intended for use with cellular booster systems that utilize a 75-ohm impedance path. It is suited for residential and light commercial deployments where an outdoor donor antenna is required to pull in cellular signal for redistribution inside a building. The 75-ohm impedance rating must be matched to compatible 75-ohm booster hardware and coaxial cable runs to avoid signal loss from impedance mismatch.

Key Features

• Omnidirectional radiation pattern provides 360-degree cellular signal reception
• 75-ohm impedance for compatibility with 75-ohm cellular booster systems
• Outdoor-rated construction for exterior mounting
• Sold individually as a single unit

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement or upgrade outdoor donor antenna for 75-ohm cellular booster systems. Verify impedance rating of the connected booster and coaxial cable before installation.

Installation Notes

This antenna should be installed by a qualified low-voltage or communications technician familiar with cellular booster systems and applicable local codes. Power down the booster amplifier before connecting or disconnecting the antenna. Mount the antenna at the highest practical exterior point with clear line of sight toward cellular towers, and ensure all coaxial connections are properly weatherproofed to prevent moisture ingress and signal degradation.
