The SUPERIOR f55a is a super-pleated filter cartridge kit designed for HVACR fluid or refrigerant filtration applications. The pleated media construction provides up to twice the effective filter area of standard pleated or non-pleated filter cartridges, allowing for greater dirt-holding capacity and extended service intervals. The cartridge captures solid contaminants down to 10 microns in size. Integral end rings are permanently bonded to the filter media for a secure, leak-resistant seal. An internal stainless steel helical wire spring prevents cartridge collapse under normal operating conditions, maintaining consistent flow and filtration performance.
