The SUPERIOR ESSEX 43012PG01 is a 12-fiber multimode OM4 indoor riser-rated fiber optic cable designed for vertical runs between floors in commercial and institutional buildings. OM4 multimode fiber supports high-bandwidth applications including 10GbE, 40GbE, and 100GbE over extended distances compared to OM3. The riser rating (OFNR) meets the requirements for vertical shaft installations where flame spread must be controlled. This cable is specified and installed by low-voltage cabling contractors, licensed electricians, and structured cabling professionals.

This cable is suited for backbone and riser runs inside commercial office buildings, data centers, healthcare facilities, educational campuses, and multi-story residential structures. Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage cabling technician or licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 770 governing optical fiber cables. Riser-rated cable must only be used in riser pathways and must not be substituted for plenum-rated cable in air-handling spaces. De-energize and lock out all adjacent electrical equipment before running cable through conduit or cable trays.
