The SUPERIOR ESSEX 04-001-54 is a Category 5e foiled twisted pair (FTP) network cable supplied on a 1000-foot pull box roll. The 4-pair, 24 AWG construction delivers reliable structured wiring performance for data and voice applications in commercial and residential installations. The FTP design adds an overall foil shield around all four pairs, providing additional protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) compared to unshielded alternatives. Licensed low-voltage technicians and structured cabling contractors are the primary installers for this product.

This cable is suited for horizontal runs, patch installations, and general-purpose Cat5e network infrastructure projects. The 1000-foot roll format is standard for pull-through rough-in work in walls, ceilings, conduit, and cable trays.
