The SUPERIOR 5255 is a 1-1/2 inch tub drain extractor designed for removing stubborn or seized tub drain fittings that cannot be removed with conventional tools. The tool uses a helical knurl pattern that bites into the inside of the drain body as torque is applied. The grip increases with additional torque, which prevents slipping during extraction. It is driven by a standard 1/2 inch ratchet with an extension or a wrench, making it compatible with drive tools already on most service trucks.
