The SUPER LUBE 54105 is a synthetic gear oil formulated for heavy-duty lubrication in industrial and commercial drive systems. It carries an ISO viscosity grade of 150 and operates across a wide temperature range of -45 degrees F to 450 degrees F, making it suitable for both cold-start conditions and sustained high-heat environments. The flash point is 450 degrees F (232 degrees C). Rated for extreme pressure use and NSF registered as food grade, this oil is appropriate for facilities where incidental food contact is a compliance requirement. It ships in a 5-gallon pail and weighs 16 pounds.
This gear oil is designed for use in gear boxes, worm gears, helical gears, herringbone gears, spur gears, and straight and spiral bevel gear sets. It also serves circulating systems, oil-lubricated bearings, chain drives, high-temperature chains, and electrically submersible pumps. Its synthetic base oil and extreme pressure additive package make it a practical choice for industrial maintenance technicians, food processing facilities, and commercial HVAC or mechanical system operators where wide temperature swings and high load demands are routine.
Suitable for use in gear boxes, worm gears, helical gears, herringbone gears, spur gears, straight and spiral bevel gears, chain drives, circulating systems, oil-lubricated bearings, high-temperature chains, and electrically submersible pumps as stated by the manufacturer.
Applied by industrial maintenance technicians or mechanical service personnel. Always de-energize and lock out equipment before draining old lubricant or filling with fresh oil. Confirm system compatibility with ISO 150 viscosity before use and verify that the existing lubricant is fully drained and the sump is clean prior to filling. Consult equipment OEM documentation for recommended fill levels and service intervals.
