The SUNBELT MARKETING fs3/4npt is an automatic shutoff valve designed to protect water heater installations from flood damage caused by leaks or supply line failures. The valve installs inline between the water heater cold-water supply and the existing manual shutoff valve, remaining fully open under normal conditions. A water and leak sensor is positioned at the base of the water heater. When moisture contacts the sensor, the valve closes automatically and sounds an audible alarm, stopping water flow before significant flooding can occur. The fs3/4npt is certified lead free in compliance with federal and state lead-free standards.

This valve is suited for residential and light commercial water heater installations where leak detection and automatic shutoff are required. It is commonly installed by licensed plumbers during new water heater setups or as a retrofit to existing installations. The 3/4 inch NPT connection matches the standard supply inlet found on most tank-style water heaters.
