The SUMMIT SML-84BRT-VEN is an 84-inch natural gas linear fireplace with B-vent configuration and a Bedrock Traditional log component. Designed for residential and commercial interior installations, this unit burns natural gas and exhausts combustion gases through a B-vent system, which draws combustion air from the room and vents exhaust vertically to the exterior. A remote control is included, allowing operation without direct access to the unit. This fireplace is intended for installation by a licensed gas technician or HVAC professional familiar with gas appliance and venting requirements.
The SML-84BRT-VEN is suited for large-format linear fireplace applications where a traditional log aesthetic is desired. The 84-inch footprint accommodates wide firebox openings common in custom residential builds, hospitality spaces, and commercial interiors. The Bedrock Traditional log set provides a conventional wood-fire appearance within the linear format. B-vent installation requires a dedicated vertical flue pathway from the firebox to the roofline.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation unit for 84-inch natural gas linear fireplace applications requiring B-vent venting and a traditional log media set.
Installation must be performed by a licensed gas technician or contractor qualified in gas appliance installation, in accordance with NFPA 54, the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC), and all applicable local codes. Shut off the gas supply at the source before making any gas line connections and verify zero pressure with a manometer before proceeding. B-vent systems must be installed with the correct vent diameter and unobstructed vertical rise per the manufacturer specifications and local code requirements. Do not operate the unit without confirming proper vent termination, gas pressure, and remote control pairing.
