The SUMITOMO 19T5APA is a solid carbide turning insert designed for precision metal cutting applications on CNC lathes and turning centers. It carries the ANSI designation CNMG432ESU and ISO code CNMG120408N-SU, conforming to both ANSI and ISO 13399 standards. The insert features an 80-degree diamond shape with a negative rake angle of 13 degrees and a neutral cutting direction. The AC5015S grade substrate is finished with a TiAlSiN coating applied via PVD process under the Absotech Bronze proprietary designation, delivering wear resistance and thermal stability. The ESU chip breaker geometry and 0.0313-inch corner radius make it well suited for finishing and semi-finishing passes. Compatibility
