The 0.25-inch inscribed circle and 1/32-inch (0.0313-inch) corner radius make it well-suited for finish and semi-finish turning passes where edge sharpness and dimensional consistency matter. A screw-hole clamping method with a 0.110-inch hole diameter provides secure indexing in compatible toolholders.
