The SUMITOMO 19RJ297 is a solid carbide CVD-coated turning insert in the VNMG332ENG geometry, manufactured to ANSI and ISO 13399 standards. It features a 35-degree diamond (rhombic) insert shape with a neutral hand orientation and a negative rake, negative side clearance configuration. The manufacturer grade is AC820P, engineered for high wear-resistance to moderate wear-resistance and toughness across steel and cast iron workpiece materials. The inscribed circle measures 0.375 inches, insert length is 0.6535 inches, and the corner radius is 0.0313 inches (1/32 inch).
