Product Description

The SUMITOMO 19PW272 is a solid carbide indexable turning insert in the TNMG432EGU style, designed for general turning operations on CNC and manual lathes. It carries the AC630M grade designation and features a CVD-applied aluminum oxide (Al2O3) coating that improves wear resistance and thermal stability during continuous and interrupted cuts. The insert has a 60-degree triangular shape, a neutral hand orientation, a 0.5-inch inscribed circle, and a 1/32-inch corner radius. The EGU chip breaker geometry is configured for positive rake cutting and is suited for medium to finishing passes where chip control and surface finish are priorities.
