The SUMITOMO 19P7BYH is a WNMG432EGE-style solid carbide turning insert designed for external and internal turning operations on steel workpieces. Manufactured to grade AC8025P with a CVD-applied coating, this insert is built for consistent performance in steel cutting applications where edge stability and wear resistance are required. The insert features an 80-degree trigon shape, a 0.5-inch inscribed circle, and a 0.0313-inch corner radius. It carries a negative rake geometry with a clearance code of N and tolerance code of M. The EGE chip breaker geometry is engineered to manage chip flow in medium to finish steel turning passes. Licensed machinists and CNC operators install this insert in standard WNMG-compatible toolholders.
This insert is intended for steel turning applications in production and job-shop environments.
