The SUMITOMO 16CDBAF is a Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) turning insert designed for precision machining of non-ferrous metals. Built to ANSI code NFDCMX21.51 and ISO code NF-DCMT070204, this insert features a 55-degree diamond shape, a 1/4-inch inscribed circle, and a 1/64-inch corner radius. The positive rake geometry and 7-degree relief angle reduce cutting forces and improve surface finish on aluminum, copper, and other non-ferrous workpiece materials. Manufactured in grade DA2200, it is supplied uncoated and held in place via screw clamping. Installation Notes
