Mounting to a firearm rail should be performed with the firearm unloaded and the action verified clear per standard safe-handling procedures. Rail locating keys are included to ensure a secure, indexed fit on MIL-STD-1913 rails. For standalone handheld use, insert the CR123A battery observing correct polarity before operation. This light is not rated as intrinsically safe and should not be used in classified hazardous locations requiring intrinsically safe equipment.
