Rated Class 1, Division 1 and compliant with ANSI/NEMA FL1-2009 standards, this light delivers 60 lumens in a single operating mode with a maximum run time of 960 minutes (16 hours) on two AAA alkaline batteries. The polycarbonate body measures 5.68 inches in length, 1.13 inches in height, and 1.13 inches in width, keeping it compact and pocket-portable. A push-button tail switch provides straightforward one-handed operation. Batteries and a pocket clip are included. At 0.15 pounds, it is lightweight enough for all-day carry in demanding industrial environments.
The 66505 is intended for use in environments where ignition risk from electrical equipment must be eliminated — petrochemical facilities, refineries, mining operations, and similar Class 1, Division 1 hazardous locations. It is also suitable for general industrial and maintenance use where a durable, single-mode LED penlight is needed. The included pocket clip supports hands-free staging on a shirt pocket or tool pouch during inspections and maintenance tasks. Electricians, instrumentation technicians, and industrial maintenance personnel are the primary installers and end users of this light.

No installation is required for handheld flashlight use. When deploying in classified hazardous locations, verify that the unit's safety rating matches the specific division and gas group classification of the work area before use. Do not modify the housing, switch, or battery compartment in any way, as alterations may void the intrinsic safety rating. Battery replacement should be performed outside of the hazardous area.
