The STERLING HVAC 72202100-96 is a modular curve back wall panel designed for use in shower enclosure installations. Constructed from solid Vikrell material, this back wall measures 36 inches in length by 72.5 inches in height and features a biscuit-colored high-gloss finish that resists soap scum and simplifies routine cleaning. The tongue-and-groove interlocking joint system creates a seamless appearance at panel seams and reduces installation complexity. A built-in shelving ledge on the back wall provides a functional storage surface without requiring additional hardware. This panel is intended for installation by licensed plumbers or qualified tile and bath installers working on residential or light commercial shower projects.
This curve back wall panel is part of the Ensemble modular shower system and is designed for use with the Ensemble 7220 series shower enclosures. The modular construction allows the panel to be maneuvered around corners and through standard doorways, making it practical for bathroom remodel work where access is limited. The solid Vikrell composition meets CSA B45.5/IAPMO Z124, ASTM E162/E662, and UL 2818 standards, making it suitable for both residential and commercial shower applications where code-compliant wall panel materials are required.
Designed for use with the Sterling Ensemble 7220 series shower enclosures as a modular curve back wall component.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified bath installer familiar with IPC and local plumbing code requirements. Shut off the water supply and ensure the wall substrate is clean, plumb, and structurally sound before fitting panels. Follow the manufacturer installation instructions for proper adhesive application and joint sealing to prevent moisture intrusion. Do not overtighten fasteners or force panel alignment, as this can stress the Vikrell material at joint points.
