The STERLING HVAC 71141122-0 is a rectangular alcove soaking bathtub designed for single-person residential bathroom installations. Built from solid Vikrell — a proprietary polyresin and fiberglass composite — the tub resists chipping, cracking, and peeling while maintaining structural rigidity over time. The high-gloss white finish delivers a smooth, easy-to-clean surface. At 60 inches long, 30 inches wide, and 20.25 inches in overall height, the unit offers an 11-inch soaking depth and a 34-gallon water capacity. A right-hand drain configuration and no-threshold profile simplify both layout planning and barrier-free access. Licensed plumbers and bathroom remodelers handle standard installation of this fixture.
The 71141122-0 belongs to the Accord Series 7114 collection and is intended for alcove installation — fitted between three walls with the finished apron face exposed. The 15-inch apron height and three-inch drain-to-floor clearance eliminate the need to cut into the sub-floor or add fire and pest protection barriers beneath the unit. No caulking is required at the seams, which reduces installation time. Coordinating wall surround kits 71144100 and 71244100 are available separately and are designed to pair with this tub. This model is not recommended for bath-only installations.
Designed for three-wall alcove installations measuring 60 inches long by 30 inches wide. Compatible wall surround kits include model numbers 71144100 and 71244100. Faucet, drain, and tub door are not included and must be sourced separately. Not recommended for bath-only installation configurations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply to the work area before beginning rough-in. Verify drain rough-in location matches the right-hand drain orientation of this unit before setting the tub. Review manufacturer installation documentation for ledger board and flange fastening requirements before securing the unit to wall studs.
