The STERLING HVAC 71141118-0 is a soaker-style alcove bathtub built from solid Vikrell composite and fiberglass construction, delivering a durable, high-gloss white finish designed for long-term residential use. Measuring 60 inches in overall length and 30 inches in overall width, it fits standard alcove rough openings. The unit ships with age-in-place factory-installed backers, allowing grab bar installation at a later date without opening the wall. A 15-inch apron, left-side drain placement, and a 2-inch drain opening are standard. The tub holds 34 gallons and conforms to ANSI Z124 and CSA B45.5 national consensus standards, as well as ASTM E-162 and ASTM E-662 flame-spread and smoke-density requirements.

This bathtub is intended for residential alcove installations where three walls enclose the unit. It is designed for bath-with-wall-set installation; bath-only installation is not recommended. The above-floor rough-in configuration supports standard plumbing connections. The left drain location must be confirmed against the rough-in layout before ordering. The smooth, non-porous Vikrell surface resists staining and is easy to clean, making it practical for both new construction and remodel projects. No caulking is required at the seams within the unit itself.
