The STERLING HVAC 71140120-0 is a four-piece modular tile bath and shower surround built from solid Vikrell, a fiberglass-reinforced composite known for rigidity and surface durability. The unit measures 60 inches in length, 32 inches in width, and 72 inches in height, sized for standard alcove installations. Its molded surface replicates the appearance of glazed ceramic tile, including realistic grout line texture, without the labor and ongoing maintenance associated with a traditionally tiled surround. The caulkless seam design between panels reduces long-term leak points and simplifies cleaning. Licensed plumbers and remodeling contractors are the primary installers for this type of fixture.
The 71140120-0 is designed for residential alcove bath and shower applications where a full-surround unit is preferred over individual tile work. The right-side drain location should be confirmed against the rough-in configuration before ordering. Two built-in wall shelves provide in-shower storage without requiring additional hardware. The three-panel wall configuration covers the back and two side walls of a standard alcove opening. The unit ships in the Accord collection with a White finish.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-construction fit for residential alcove bath and shower rough-ins with a 60-inch opening width and right-side drain configuration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified remodeling contractor in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and verify the drain rough-in location matches the right-side drain configuration before beginning installation. Confirm that wall studs and backer material are plumb and structurally sound before securing panels, as improper backing can cause panel flex and seam failure over time. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds on the Vikrell surface during or after installation.
