The STERLING HVAC 402320-0 is a two-piece, round-front toilet designed for residential plumbing installations where water efficiency and reliable performance are priorities. Operating at 1.28 gallons per flush, it meets WaterSense-class consumption targets without sacrificing flushing reliability. The round-front bowl profile reduces the overall footprint compared to elongated designs, making it well-suited for smaller bathrooms or tight rough-in situations. Pro Force Plus flushing technology delivers consistent bowl clearing with each flush. The two-piece construction separates the tank and bowl, simplifying handling during transport and easing positioning during rough-in and final set.
This toilet is intended for residential bathroom installations and is a practical choice for new construction, remodel, and replacement projects. The compact round-front profile fits standard rough-in configurations and works in bathrooms where floor space is limited. Licensed plumbers and experienced plumbing contractors handle installation in most jurisdictions. The water-efficient 1.28 GPF rating supports compliance with low-consumption plumbing codes adopted in many states and municipalities.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation two-piece toilet for standard residential rough-in plumbing applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and clear the drain line before setting the bowl over the closet flange. Use a new wax ring and closet bolts when setting the bowl, and confirm the flange height is appropriate before final torquing of the bowl nuts. Connect the water supply line to the tank fill valve and verify all connections for leaks before returning the fixture to service.
