The STERLING gg060a1nsa11 is a low-profile, gas-fired propeller unit heater designed for residential garages and commercial outbuildings. It delivers 60,000 BTU/h input and 49,800 BTU/h output at 83% thermal efficiency, using a direct spark ignition system paired with a single-orifice burner housed in a 321 stainless steel burner box. The heat exchanger is constructed from 20-gauge aluminized steel for long-term durability in damp or dusty environments. A 14-inch diameter, open drip-proof (ODP) fan motor running at 1,050 RPM moves 740 CFM of heated air. This unit is intended for installation by qualified HVAC technicians in non-occupied outbuilding spaces.
The gg060a1nsa11 is suited for residential garages and commercial outbuildings where ceiling height or overhead space is limited. Its low-profile cabinet measures 16-13/16 inches H x 30 inches W x 26-3/16 inches D, supporting ceiling, wall, and horizontal mounting configurations. The unit ships ready for standard or separated combustion and includes an LP gas conversion kit. Optional combustion air inlet kits support concentric venting setups. It operates on 115/120V single-phase power at 60 Hz, making it compatible with standard residential and light-commercial electrical service.
The gg060a1nsa11 is part of the STERLING GG Series, which covers residential garages and commercial outbuilding applications (non-occupied spaces only). GG Series propeller units are available in sizes from 30 to 120 MBH. This unit is ETL certified for residential garage use and carries outbuilding certification for commercial non-occupied spaces.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC or mechanical contractor in accordance with local codes, NFPA 54, and the manufacturer installation instructions. Shut off all gas supply and disconnect electrical power before servicing or mounting the unit. The 4-inch vent connection requires proper venting to outdoors per applicable code; verify clearances to combustibles before mounting. Do not operate in occupied living spaces or areas not rated on the unit certification label.
