The STERLING gg045a1nsa11 is a low-profile, single-stage natural gas unit heater rated at 45,000 BTU/h input and 37,350 BTU/h output, achieving 83% thermal efficiency. It is designed for ceiling or wall mounting in horizontal configurations and is built around a 20-gauge aluminized steel tubular heat exchanger paired with a 321 stainless steel burner box. Direct spark ignition provides reliable startup, and the 1/20 HP, open drip-proof motor drives a 10-inch diameter fan at 1,650 RPM to deliver 550 CFM of heated airflow. Licensed HVAC technicians and mechanical contractors are the primary installers for this type of equipment.
The gg045a1nsa11 is suited for residential garages, workshops, outbuildings, and light commercial or industrial spaces requiring supplemental or primary heating. It is certified to ANSI Z83.8 for both residential garage and industrial/commercial applications. The unit operates on 115/120 V, single-phase, 60 Hz power with a 3.2-amp draw. The right-hand controls are convertible to left-hand configuration, and an LP gas conversion kit is available separately for fuel flexibility. The power-vented design uses a 4-inch vent and accepts separated combustion with an accessory kit.
The gg045a1nsa11 is part of the STERLING GG Series of low-profile natural gas unit heaters. It is designed for use with natural gas supply and is rated for elevations from 0 to 4,999 feet. Separated combustion requires a separately purchased accessory kit.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC or mechanical contractor in accordance with the National Fuel Gas Code (NFPA 54/ANSI Z223.1), local mechanical codes, and the manufacturer instructions. Shut off the gas supply and disconnect electrical power before servicing or mounting the unit. The 4-inch vent connection must be routed and sealed per local venting codes; do not use flexible vent connectors in configurations not rated for this appliance. Verify supply voltage at 115/120 V, single-phase, 60 Hz before energizing the unit.
