The STERLING 72362100-0 is a 48-inch shower back wall built from solid Vikrell material for use in alcove shower installations. Vikrell is a proprietary composite that delivers the rigidity of fiberglass with a smooth, high-gloss finish that resists staining and is easy to clean. This wall panel is part of the Ensemble Curve collection and features a tongue-and-groove modular design that simplifies alignment during rough-in or remodel phases. Molded-in shelves and shaving ledges are integrated directly into the panel, eliminating the need for aftermarket accessories. The result is a structurally sound back wall suited for residential alcove shower builds.
This panel is designed for alcove shower configurations and is sized at 48 inches in length to span standard alcove openings. It is intended for installation alongside the Ensemble Curve 7234 Series end wall set and must be used with the 72321100 GUARD+ shower base to complete the surround system. The tongue-and-groove connection method supports caulk-free joining between panels, which reduces long-term maintenance concerns related to grout or caulk failure. Licensed plumbers and finish carpenters typically handle installation during the tile-ready or finish phase of new construction or bathroom renovation projects.
Part of the Ensemble Curve collection. Must be installed with the 72321100 GUARD+ shower base and the Ensemble Curve 7234 Series end wall set. Not designed for standalone use or as a universal replacement panel.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or finish contractor during the construction or remodel finish phase. Shut off the water supply and ensure the substrate walls are plumb, flat, and structurally sound before fitting the panel. Follow the manufacturer-provided installation instructions for tongue-and-groove alignment and fastener placement. Local plumbing codes under the IPC or applicable regional authority should be consulted prior to beginning work.
