The STERLING 71171120-0 is an oval alcove bathtub from the Ensemble collection, designed for residential bathroom installations where soaking comfort and efficient use of wall-alcove space are priorities. Built from Vikrell, a proprietary composite material known for durability and a smooth, easy-to-clean finish, this tub measures 60 inches in length and 30-1/4 inches in width with a total height of 19 inches. The tub depth reaches 11-1/4 inches, and the unit holds up to 44 gallons of water. Lumbar support and a contoured bathing well are integrated into the design to improve soaking ergonomics without requiring accessories.
This bathtub is intended for 3-wall alcove mounting, the standard configuration in residential new construction and bathroom remodel projects. The right-hand drain location suits layouts where the drain rough-in is positioned on the right side when facing the tub from the open end. The bottom basin measures 45 x 20 inches, while the top basin bathing well extends to 53 x 23 inches, providing a generous soaking area. The drain opening is 2 inches with a drain height of 1/4 inch, and the overflow is positioned at 13-1/4 inches from the tub floor. This unit is domestically produced and finished in white.
Designed for 3-wall alcove installations with a right-side drain rough-in and a standard 60-inch tub opening. Part of the STERLING Ensemble collection.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber in compliance with local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. The alcove space and drain rough-in location should be confirmed before setting the tub. Shut off the water supply to the work area before making any drain or supply connections. Verify that the subfloor and alcove framing meet the load and leveling requirements specified by the manufacturer before securing the unit.
