The STEINER 1364-18EE is a pair of flame-resistant welding sleeves constructed from a 2-ply carbon fiber knit fabric rated at 10 oz per square yard. Designed for universal fit, these sleeves measure 18 inches in overall length and feature elastic openings at both ends for secure, tool-free positioning during welding operations. The carbon fiber knit construction delivers a balance of flame resistance, flexibility, and comfort that matters during extended overhead or confined-space welds. Welders, fabricators, and maintenance technicians working around open arc or flame hazards are the primary users of this sleeve design.
These sleeves are suited for MIG, TIG, stick, and general fabrication welding environments in both shop and field settings. The narrow profile fits snugly over standard work shirts and jackets without restricting arm movement. The elastic-end closure eliminates drawstrings or hook-and-loop fasteners, keeping the fitment simple and consistent across operators. The black colorway resists visible soiling in heavy-use industrial environments.
Designed as an OEM-style flame-resistant sleeve for general welding applications requiring forearm protection from sparks, spatter, and incidental flame contact.
Welding sleeves are donned before beginning any welding or cutting operation and should be worn in conjunction with appropriate welding gloves, helmet, and jacket or apron per applicable workplace safety standards. Inspect the sleeves before each use for tears, burn-through, or compromised elastic ends that would reduce protection. Launder and store according to the manufacturer guidance for flame-resistant PPE to maintain the integrity of the FR properties over time.
