The STEINER 1034-23WW is a pair of flame-resistant protective sleeves designed for welding applications. Made from 9 oz per square yard cotton, these sleeves provide a barrier against sparks, spatter, and radiant heat during arc or gas welding operations. At 23 inches in overall length, they cover the forearm and a significant portion of the upper arm. A parabolic top contour and elastic openings at both ends keep the sleeves securely positioned during movement, reducing the need for constant adjustment on the job.
These sleeves are suited for use in residential, commercial, and industrial welding environments. They are commonly worn by welders, pipefitters, and ironworkers during MIG, TIG, stick, and oxy-fuel welding tasks. The universal sizing makes them a practical addition to a shop or field kit where multiple technicians may share or rotate personal protective equipment. Green cotton construction provides a natural, breathable material that holds up to the heat and debris typical in welding work.
Designed as a general-purpose flame-resistant sleeve for welding applications. Compatible with standard personal protective equipment setups used in welding, fabrication, and related hot-work environments.
These sleeves are donned and removed by the wearer as part of a personal protective equipment routine. Inspect sleeves before each use for holes, fraying, or burn damage that would reduce protection. Follow your facility or jobsite PPE policy and applicable OSHA guidelines for hot-work operations. Launder according to the manufacturer care instructions to maintain flame-resistant properties.
