The STEINER 02276-X is a pair of premium-grain deerskin leather welding gloves designed for MIG welding applications. At 12 inches overall length with a 4-inch gauntlet cuff, these gloves provide extended wrist and forearm coverage during active welding. The Gunn-cut back pattern and straight thumb construction support natural hand positioning at the gun. Stitched with Kevlar thread and featuring welted finger seams, the gloves resist burn-through at the seam lines — one of the first points to fail under spatter exposure. Flame protection is the primary rated protection type. These are an unlined pair, sized Medium for men.
The 02276-X suits residential and light commercial welding work, fabrication shops, and maintenance applications where MIG welding is the primary process. The deerskin leather construction offers a balance of heat resistance and dexterity that coarser materials do not. The gauntlet cuff style covers the gap between glove and sleeve, reducing spatter entry. Welders, pipefitters, and maintenance technicians working with MIG equipment are the typical end users for this style of glove.
Designed for MIG welding applications. Sized Medium for men and X-Large for women per manufacturer sizing. Sold as a pair.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, burn-through, or compromised seams. Do not use damaged gloves near open arcs or spatter. Replace when leather shows thinning or seam failure. Welding gloves should be stored away from oils, solvents, and direct heat sources when not in use.
