The STARRETT SR160 is a portable surface roughness gage designed to measure and report multiple roughness parameters on machined, ground, or otherwise finished surfaces. It uses a piezoelectric pickup with a diamond stylus to trace surface profiles and delivers readings across a broad set of Ra, Rz, Rt, and P-series parameters via an intuitive LCD display. Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity and USB data output allow results to be logged or transferred without manual transcription. The rubberized two-piece housing and rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery make it practical for shop floor and field use.
